So yes, July 23rd has come and gone, and once again I'm another year older. My birthday fell on a Tuesday, and I got many wonderful birthday wishes spanning over two days (because Korea is almost a day ahead of B.C.). I worked of course, but two special things did happen for me. The first being that my Korean co-teacher Dana, came in early and decorated my class for me and gave me a small gift, of a reusable Starbucks cold drink cup. The second thing, was that my boss got me my own birthday cake and I got to enjoy it between classes with the rest of my co-workers. Other than that, nothing special really happened and it was just another day of living the dream :) Oh and we went to Eunhendong to have Dok-gal-bi for my birthday dinner. You can see pictures of that on the earlier post about food. Here are some pictures from my birthday. As I was cutting the cake I realised that in my entire 24 years, I've never had to cut a birthday cake. That job was always left up to dad. It was a little strange not having him there to do it. Somehow I got by though.
