Seoul

So we very briefly made an appearance in Seoul for part of a Saturday and Sunday. We stayed mainly in Itaewon (foreigner central) and it rained most of the time we were there. We had Mexican for dinner and didn't do anything other than wander around and go out to the bars. We stayed in a nice hostel for the night. These are some pictures. There wasn't a whole lot of interesting things to take pictures of so there aren't many. It's basically a city with a lot of people. Nothing that you can't get back home. At least, not that we've seen yet. Maybe when we go back on other trips.

 Random huge chandelier

The Seoul Tower as seen from the top of Hooker Hill (the name is not fake, it's actually called Hooker Hill {even in the Lonely Planet guidebooks} and for good reason. We made the boys walk up ahead of us so that we could watch them get cat-called. We went early so there weren't very many "ladies" out and about).

Our hostel (this was my bed on the bottom). The girls slept in one room, and the boys in another. It actually worked out really well in our favor as the 4 of us girls had a room to ourselves even though there were 2 empty beds, the hostel wasn't full.

The pretty wallpaper on the walls of our room.

 The bus station in Seoul.
